Return and Exchange Policy
Most unopened merchandise may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase. Be sure to double-check all information on the package before you open it. Software products that have been opened can only be returned if the are defective. Open defective software can only be exchanged for the same product (identical item). If you are still unsure, contact us by email or call Customer Service at (636) 239-3594 (Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. CST).
All sales of clearance merchandise are final. Clearance merchandise will not be accepted for return or exchange unless defective.
We will gladly exchange any defective merchandise for the same item within 30 days of purchase. Please contact customer service for a Return Authorization (RA) number. This RA number should be written on the outside packaging of your returned defective item. Our Quality Assurance team will test the defective item. Upon approval of the Quality Assurance team, your replacement item will be shipped to you at no cost.
Original shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. Customer is responsible for shipping, insurance and proof of delivery for all returns.

Damaged Product: If you received your order by USPS and there is visible damaged, e-mail us immediately. If your order is arriving by another carrier such as UPS or FedEx, please inspect package and have driver make note of any exterior, minor package damage. If it appears contents of package is damaged refuse delivery and don’t sign delivery ticket. Once you sign for the shipment, it is your responsibility to file a claim for the damaged product.
Shipping & Delivery
Phil’s Sewing Machines accepts orders from billing addresses within the United States. No shipments can be made to shipping addresses outside of the continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii.
We ship many of our items with a flat rate of $7.99 per order. Free ground shipping is included in the Continental 48 States on most orders over $100. Some items may be freight intensive and will require additional shipping cost. The shipping costs will be noted for these items on the products page.
Some of our products listed in our online store cannot be purchased online nor can they be shipped, and will be noted on each product listing. These items include any BabyLock branded products, and Pfaff branded products. We invite you to come visit us and purchase these items from our retail store in Washington, MO.
