Free-Motion Quilting Workshop 2

Student Group/Skill Level: Adult - Intermediate Beginner
If you have taken our Beginner Free-Motion Quilting Workshop or feel comfortable with the basics of free-motion quilting, this workshop is for you. We will add to our free-motion quilting skills while learning a different basting method and 3 more intermediate quilting designs.
Date: Tuesday, September 17, 2019
Times: 9:30am to 12:00pm, or 1:00pm to 3:30pm, or 6:00pm to 8:30pm
Where: Phil’s Sewing Studio 400 E. 5th Street (across the street from Phil’s Sewing Machines)
Workshop Fee: $15.00 due at sign-up. The workshop fee includes the cost of the workshop, fabrics, wash-a-way thread, and batting necessary for the workshop and instruction. You will need to bring your own supplies, see list below. These should be purchased prior to the Workshop.

Supply list: Note- Supplies should be purchased prior to the class. Highlighted items to be purchased at Phil’s, stop by and our staff will happily help you make your selections. We appreciate your support of our small business.
If you are in need of any items with an (*), please let us know early as these may need to be ordered.
- safety pins or pins (*Pinmoors-optional)
- fabric marking pencil/pen
- thread snips
- quilting 90/14 needles
- 40 or 50 wt. cotton or polyester thread and 2 full bobbins
- *free motion foot
- *extension table (optional)
- * free-motion glider (optional)
- *quilting gloves/grips (optional but highly recommended)
Sewing machine* in good working order with accessories, 2 full bobbins and new quilting 90/14 needle. We have classroom machines available for use at no additional cost and invite you to try one. If you would like to use one of our classroom machines, please let us know prior to the workshop.
*If bringing and using your own sewing machine, must be familiar with it, know how to thread, wind & insert bobbin, select straight stitch, and insert new needle if necessary.
