Serger Sit and Sew Workshop

Instructor: Jill Ferguson

Student Group/Skill Level: Adult - Beginner

Please join us for a free sit and sew project. We will be using a serger to complete a pieced hot pad. If you do not have a serger, you are welcome to use one of our easy threading Baby Lock sergers. This is a great chance to “try before you buy” one of these great machines.

Date: Tuesday, September 10, 2019

Times: 10:00am - 12:00pm, or 1:00pm - 3:00pm, or 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Where: Phil’s Sewing Studio 400 E. 5th Street (across the street from Phil’s Sewing Machines)

Universal 90/14 needles

Serger* in good working order with accessories, universal 90/14 needle. We have classroom machines available for use at no additional cost and invite you to try one. If you would like to use one of our classroom machines, please let us know prior to the workshop.
*If bringing and using your own sewing machine, must be familiar with it, know how to thread, wind & insert bobbin, select straight stitch, and insert new needle if necessary.
